You probably noticed our website’s new look. We figured that, after about 15 years, it was time to update things. Among other improvements, the website’s responsive design will look better and function across all devices. We’re also rolling out a new DLFNY brand identity!

The new website is designed to be more convenient for our members with even more information than the old one. There is a more streamlined and user-friendly function for event registration. You‘ll be able to more easily renew your membership and update account information at member.dlfny.org.

Additionally, for the first time we’ve introduced a DLFNY blog that’s readily accessible to anyone viewing the website. In it, we‘ll present news and recaps of events along with other opinions and insights written by members of the lighting community. We encourage our members to participate by submitting potential blog posts to info@dlfny.org. As a lighting forum, we’re here to amplify the voices of our community and support those willing to share their insight in the industry.

Our manufacturers and reps resource page, a unique service to the lighting community, has been expanded. The page provides an extensive list of manufacturers, not only in New York City, but across the globe. On our lighting links page, you’ll find the websites of lighting’s most prominent organizations, trade shows, and schools. If there is an event of interest in lighting, we’ll be sure to make its corresponding web page accessible from right here.

The DLFNY is proud to launch this new and improved website. The goal of the redesign is to provide an even better resource for our members and the lighting community as a whole. As always, we will continue to create unique, engaging events that explore lighting design and offer professional knowledge, education, and networking opportunities in the lighting community. We hope our members and other visitors find the new website to be easier to navigate. We also hope that you find the colorful rebranding and contemporary features a refreshing start to 2021!
