About the Event
Amidst the contrasting new and old in the re-emerging Bowery, the Sperone Westwater Gallery at night presents a glowing shaft of light, punctuated by a hovering red form that elevates behind the glazed façade.
We’ll hear how Buro Happold created the IALD award-winning lighting, including the illuminated moving room, for this Foster & Partners-designed building. An unguided walk through the public galleries will be followed by a presentation, concluding with a sunset exterior view.
