Light in the Empire State

June 23rd, 2010

About the Event

Enjoy the view from Skanska USA’s 32nd floor New York headquarters in the Empire State Building. In the first year since Skanska renovated and moved into their new space, they have been awarded LEED Platinum for the project and documented significant energy and cost savings. As the project was a renovation, lighting has been a big portion of the savings. Skansa’s Preconstruction Director Tri Tran will discuss the renovation and the energy and cost benefits of green construction, and Arup’s Matt Franks will discuss the lighting and daylighting in the space, followed by a tour.

This DLFNY program counts as 1 AIA/CES Learning Unit
