About the Event
Tour the newly renovated Conrad Hotel in Battery Park City, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and L’Observatoire International. Included in the total renovation, along with restaurants, ballrooms, guest rooms and an exterior arcade, is a dramatic 14-story lobby featuring a 100′ x 100′ Sol Lewitt painting grazed with color-changing lighting, an illuminated hanging “veil” sculpture by architect Monica Ponce De Leone, a theatrically-lit LED wall and custom furniture.
L’Obervatoire International Senior Lighting Designer Nicolas Dufils will lead the tour and discussion.
