Literary Lights

November 18th - November 19th, 2008

About the Event

Join the DLFNY as we tour the award-winning plaza and entry lighting at the recently renovated Central Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library. Prominently located on Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza, this national historic landmark features a dramatic and gilded entrance that welcomes visitors with light.

The lighting designer and architect will walk us through the plaza and will discuss the redesign and the challenges of incorporating modern lighting technology in the context of historic renovation.

This DLFNY program counts as 1 AIA/CES Learning Unit
